R. Brewer Dakin

Brewer is an associate in Baty Otto Scheer’s St. Louis office. Prior to joining the firm, he was a general practice attorney with a Lake of the Ozarks firm, where he gained valuable trial experience in commercial litigation, real estate disputes, criminal law, and family law. Earlier in his legal career, Brewer worked in-house for a Chicago-based energy company as a member of the company’s international expansion and compliance team.

Brewer graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2021. While in law school, he was involved with the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law and held numerous internships and clerk positions, including a judicial internship with the Cook County Law Division.

Brewer holds a degree in political science from Michigan State University.
