Professional Know-How and Demonstrated Effectiveness
Baty Otto Coronado’s attorneys and staff, comprised of paralegals, legal assistants, records clerks, and administrators, work together to offer our clients quality legal representation in challenging matters, large and small. It takes a village, so to speak.
Our firm proudly offers clients an experienced lead attorney on every case, with backing available from a cadre of 20-plus attorneys, a team of experienced paraprofessionals, and administrative personnel who “keep our trains running.”
Baty Otto Coronado’s attorneys are variously admitted to the bar in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois. Most hold active licenses in two of these states. Our associates work closely and daily under a partner’s watchful eye and guiding hand. Our ratio of partners to associates is greater than 2-to-1. The firm also invests significant resources in continuing legal education and participation in bar and other professional associations which support the firm’s practice and industry areas. Our attorneys, multifaceted within their own group, serve a diverse base of clients. They are focused on building client relationships that last through regular communication, reliable work product, and all-round good lawyering.
Paralegals are the backbone of any good litigation team. Baty Otto Coronado’s paralegals are skilled in the research, fact-checking, cataloging, drafting, and prepping for hearing and trial that are routine under their job description. The collective experience of our paralegal team can be tallied in decades: our most senior paralegal has been in her role more than 30 years, another 17 years, and yet another 10 years.
Legal Assistants & Records Clerks
The work of our lawyers is supported by legal assistants who help manage the strict deadlines of the firm’s litigation and trial docket; schedule depositions, teleconferences, and other meetings; keyboard and proofread pleadings and correspondence; and otherwise assist with tasks that arise in a busy law firm environment. Our records clerks manage all case files, ensuring they are organized, indexed, and properly stored and/or archived for efficient retrieval when needed.
