Randy P. Scheer

Randy is an accomplished trial attorney with more than 30 years of litigation experience handling significant damages, injury, and death claims related to construction defects, products liability, toxic torts, environmental claims, trucking/transportation liability, and medical and other professional liability. He has also represented businesses in commercial litigation matters. He spent the first 25 years of his litigation career with AmLaw 200 firm Husch Blackwell LLP, where he tried numerous cases and mentored other young trial lawyers.

Randy’s clients have included manufacturers of a variety of commercial and consumer products, trucking companies, physicians, hospitals, lawyers, engineers, and major insurers, including excess carriers, who have retained him to handle significant defense, appellate, and coverage matters.

Randy’s litigation and trial experience includes numerous jury and bench trials and appeals in state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has been consistently recognized in Martindale-Hubbell (with an AV Preeminent® Rating), The Best Lawyers in America®, and Super Lawyers®. In 2015, Randy (as lead counsel) and his trial team were recognized by Missouri Lawyers Weekly for obtaining the largest defense verdict in Missouri (after a 3-week trial defending a $140 million construction defect claim against a manufacturer of pultruded FRP products).
