PRACTICE AREAS:
Justin is an associate in Baty Otto Scheer’s Kansas City office. He joined the firm with prior experience in complex commercial litigation as a law clerk with another regional firm. Additionally, during his final year of law school, Justin was employed as a global data privacy compliance legal intern for an international retailer, tasked with ensuring compliance of company-wide data privacy programs with U.S. and cross-border data privacy standards.
Justin graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2024. During law school, he served as chief justice of the KU Law Moot Court Council. While chief justice, Justin won the National Native American Law Students Association (NALSA) Moot Court Competition and was an octofinalist in the Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition.
Before attending law school, Justin obtained degrees in biology and psychology from the University of Missouri, where he was a member of the Missouri Alpha chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and a steering committee member of Mizzou Greek Week.
