James Driscoll Crabbe

Driscoll is an associate whose legal practice includes litigation and transactional matters. Prior to joining Baty Otto Scheer in Kansas City, he advised businesses on a variety of transactional matters, including business formation, corporate governance, commercial leasing, real estate transactions, and contract drafting and represented clients in Missouri family courts.

Driscoll earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Science in Governance, Organization, and Leadership from Creighton University. While in law school, he served on the Creighton Law Review, where he authored legal scholarship and strengthened his legal research and writing skills. He also demonstrated leadership as a member of the Student Bar Association and the Business Law Society. As part of his graduate studies, Driscoll interned with the United States Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP Committee), where he assisted with legislative and public policy matters involving employee benefits, pensions, and labor issues.

His diverse legal experience provides a unique perspective in insurance defense litigation, enabling him to develop practical strategies and effectively advocate for his clients throughout the litigation process.
