PRACTICE AREAS:
Jefferson is an associate in Baty Otto Scheer’s Kansas City office. Before joining the firm, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Cynthia L. Martin at the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, in addition to working as a staff attorney for the ACLU of Kansas.
Jefferson earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2023. During law school, Jefferson served as the Chief Judge of the UMKC Honor Court, a managing editor for the UMKC Law Review, and a member of UMKC’s Regional Moot Court team. Jefferson also graduated with pro bono/public service honors and received the 2023 John Speca Family Law Award.
Before attending law school, Jefferson earned his undergraduate degree in political science & international relations from Truman State University.
